Awhile back, DMD asked if I’d spend a little time on Seattle and maybe even put up some Seattle pics. Well, today was just about the perfect day of all time in Seattle, and I remembered to grab my camera as I moved around my neighborhood.
I live in a little part of Seattle I like to call Mid-Hill, which is located just above the I-5 freeway on the northwest side of Seattle’s Capitol HIll. Mid-Hill refers specifically to the little business district not a block away, where one finds restaurants, an art gallery, bars and some kwik-e-marts. Up the hill is Broadway and then 15th Ave E, much like an adolescent and grown up version of the same person, respectively.
Enjoy the scenery!
That's a pretty awesome view...is that from your place? I don't think I've ever been there when the Olympics were so crisp. It's like you could touch them.

Yup, that's right out my window every day. It's kind of funny that it came to that, back in the 90s when I was first living in Seattle, I had some coworkers from more southern and mountainless places, and they would all talk about the mountains this, the mountains that. I didn't mean to be snarky, mostly I was just ignorant, but I was like "what mountains?" I just couldn't see them. Later, even before I got this view I started to see the mountains every time they appeared. You have to be really alert if you like to look at mountains in Seattle.

Wow nice dude! I have two friends that live on Capital Hill and have a view of the Space Needle.
It really is a gorgeous area.
